Hi! My name is Bill Bacarella and I have had a life changing experience from CrossFit.  CrossFit has given me the dedication and determination to conquer any task life throws at me.  If I get knocked down, I just do a burpee and jump right back up.  CrossFit has given me the strength to keep moving forward even when I want to quit.  There is a special bond between crossfitters because each and every member of the community knows what every other member is going through to succeed.  LIGHT THE FIRE!!!

I found CrossFit after becoming bored with my exercise routine. I had been a runner for a number of years, but was getting bored with the same routine every day. My boyfriend at the time (and now my husband), Bill introduced me to CrossFit and I never looked back. CrossFit has helped me learn to embrace my body and all that is capable of. Since starting CrossFit, I have been able to let go of the desire to be skinny, and now focus on being healthy & what my body is capable of doing. CrossFit helped me cope with my coursework during PT school, and continually helps me strive to be the best version of me I can be. I enjoy introducing others to the community of CrossFit and watching them grow through CrossFit.

Experience and Qualifications

-CrossFit Level 1 Certified

From the time I was in 6th grade until my high school graduation, I was on the swim team. Being a part of a team meant more to me than the sport itself; I loved being a member of something great! Upon graduation (and the end of my high school swimming career) the freshman 15 found me. Ok, really it was the freshman 80 in my case! I tried every workout under the sun – I was even an aerobics instructor for several years. I lost some of the weight but it never really stayed lost.

I found CrossFit in 2013 when I was trying to get in shape for my wedding. It didn’t take long for me to fall in love, and I kicked myself for waiting for so long to try it. I had found the one thing I missed about my high school swimming days: I found a community that I wanted to belong to. I also learned that I felt empowered every time I put weight on the barbell and was able to lift it.

CrossFit has also lead me to a love of all things health & nutrition related which helped me to get back down to my high school weight (and a smaller pants size than when I was in high school!) I enjoy watching members discover their love for CrossFit and seeing member achieve the goals they set.  I cannot wait to welcome you to our LTF Family!

Experience and Qualifications

– CrossFit Level 1 certified

My name is Gary Banning. I have been doing CrossFit since early 2015. Growing up playing sports all my life, CrossFit filled the void of having a team and fulfill my competitive side. Everyone was so welcoming and encouraging that friends that will last forever formed very quickly and my love for the sport grew. In 2016 I began to shadow Bill and assist in coaching larger classes. In 2017 I became a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.

When not coaching I am an Engineering Specialist for a Tier One supplier of the Big 3. CrossFit has not only benefited my overall health but also helped me at home and work. Allowing me to perform everyday tasks easily due to the large amount of functional movements that CrossFit strives to teach.

Come in and see us and let us show you why we have all fell in love with not only the fun of CrossFit but also the community.
